We salute your valour Sam.May your soul rest in eternal peace. Those were days when India had a strong leadership in Indira Gandhi and a stout General-Sam Manekshaw, totally in command of the defence of the nation.We could just hope that India gets such luxuries again.

Politicians create troubles. Mrs. Gandhi was no exception and then asked Maneksha to help out. He did it in a most professional way forcing enemies to surrender abjectly. However, the politician again got the limelight. Mrs. Gandhi got all the praise for handling the situation! That is how perhaps it works. But Maneksha was such a personal, he got the fame and name he richly deserved.
