Manekshah, the Field Marshall.
by Ramasamy Nagarajan on Jun 27, 2008 06:37 AM   Permalink

I remember his strategy in winning the BanglaDesh war, which he himself had revealed after the Liberation of Bangla Desh.
He followed the principles of wate flow, ie. water flows through the path of least resistence!
On their incursions into the then East Pakistan which had a lot of rivers, swamps, Paddy fields, forests and of course the resistence of the Pak Army under Gen Tikka Khan, Indian Army followed the path of least resistence well coordinated by the Army and Air force and liberated Bangla Desh, despite the American Warships presence near the estuaries of the Ganges/Bhagirathi/Hoogly.
A Greta man for a successful team work. I salue you.
