Why US is so enamoured about Nuke deal with India???
by jamsheed basha abumohammed on Jun 24, 2008 12:08 PM   Permalink

US is interested in strengthening the NPT and eroll more members so that it can enjoy the monopoly in the nuclear field being the sole policeman of the world with Nuke arsenal in plenty. What is to observed here is NPT will become functional if all the Nuclear countries of the world abandon their programmes and destroy the bombs stockpiled there. In the first place, US, France, China and Russia should clear the stockpile and then urge other countries like Israel, Germany, France and Pakistan to destroy their boms in the larger interest of the world community. If this assurance is given, then all the countries in the world would join NPT. When some of the countries like Israel is armed to the teeth sitting in the midst of the Arab Countries, how do US expect Iran to abandon its nuclear programme. So far US has no come out with a clear cut policy towards Israel's nuclear capability. Why there is no attempt to stop Isreal from making bombs or stockpiling it when the situation in the gulf and Arab peninsula is volatile. Any nuclear strike in the area would destroy three fourth of oil reserves of the world and the whole world would come to creaching halt. This is the danger of Israel holding the stockpile of nuclear arms and to match it, Iran and Pakistan naturally developed their own nuclear capability and whats wrong with it even if India has bombs. Security is prime and to safeguard India has done us proud by producing nuclear capability in self defence than threatening others.
