During partition, Punjab, Bombay (Presidency), Bengal, etc got divided amid much bloodshed. But people learnt to live with new realities and carry on in life. Ordinary Kashmiris would probably like to move on in life as well.
Green-card holding leaders such as the Mirwaiz and his family can fall back on a comfortable life in the US. He should not misguide other Kashmiris into getting stuck in the past.
