it is not question of tirupati only..
by Bunty on Jun 20, 2008 01:52 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

it is not question of finding sex workers in tirupati only, banaras is also a spirutual centre, who would find them there also.
Kolkatta has ramakrishna math hqrs, but you have asia's biggest red light area(sonagachi) there.
so, lets not mix spirituality and sex.
they two are distinct instintincts of man.
man with lower instinct cannot have higher instinct at same time.

good point. You cannot easily control everyone and police people just because the place is considered sacred by others. There were earlier reports of non-vegetarianism, drinking of alcohol on the sacred hills. If people are of low moral how can God help.

The TTD administrators, Andhra government, etc., are not doing their duty properly. All that happens now is that the report will be called incorrect, as can be seen from the article. I quote here: "The news immediately hit television channels across the country, forcing Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to come out with a clarification.

At a hurriedly-convened press conference, TTD executive officer K Ramachary and Chandravadan alleged that the media had distorted the remarks.

Chandravadan said the reports were unofficial and needed to be checked for the veracity.

Ramanachary said the official should have gone through the facts thoroughly. The issue would be discussed with TTD chairman B Karuankara Reddy and others concerned. "

In a few more days, the officer could be transferred for speaking up the truth as he knows it! This is kind of curing the problem by silencing the finder!!

Absolutely right. It is lilke haveing a Pooja room as well as a toilet in your house. Dont mix up the issues for Godsake! When the basal instincts take over, God is forgotten and that is also human nature! It should be seen only as a news item and ignored at the same time taking necessary preventive steps in the larger interest of the well being of the society!!
