Consensus

Let there be a general public consensus on the deal. India is not property of a few crazy Chinese Commies Agents and after the consensus result all commies should be thrown to the other side of border in China. Let them be slaves of Hu Jintao

Chinese dont have a better deal with US, to set the facts straight, we are get the reprocessing rights which Chinese dont have. This is best deal for us, we need not get the tech. or the fuel from US, once the deal is signed - we can get these from any of the 45 NSG countries like France, Russia etc. They are willing to do the commercial transactions with us. What we need to understand is - the way NSG is structured. Without US approval first, any new country wont be able to commercially deal in civil nuclear fuel and tech with the NSG countries. Lets us realize that that is how NSG is structured. We need to be smart and then deal with any country that we choose to. History alone will tell that what Left did was wrong. I am surprised why BJP is not supporting. BJP should rise above its own desire to sign the deal and think in India's interest and support the current govt. to get this deal through. We shouldnt waste time and sign it now. I would say that UPA govt. should act bold and get a voting done in the parliament on N-deal and lets record official stances of our political parties so that history can judge for itself what an honest prime minister did.Even if the parliament disapproves, still the govt. should go and sign the deal because as per the constitution , the govt. does not need parliament's go ahead for signing bi-lateral agreements.

Dear Mr Dhingra.
Thanks for your comment and suggestion. I would like to raise 2 questions. Had at any given point of time, congress had asked the BJP to come on board for nuclear deal. Pls refer to the meeting of the some amrican person who visited to advani and rajnath.
Overthrowing the parmiliament for getting the work done would be a good precedent (if at all done) though we do not need the ratification of the parliament.
