.. as to why GOD cursed them with 1000 years of Slavery ??
Here is the answer..
Because big number of weak, innocent co-habitants of this land were persecuted as Untouchables and low castes.
I am afraid many Hindus did not learn the lesson, and took to persecuting weak muslims as soon as GOD gave them respite from "Slavery".
Beware, GOD can do same for your deeds that HE did 1000 years back.
