Enjoy the SC ST OBC status...
It's like a getting bonus promotion or a hike because that person down graded himself.
So now, socio-economic conditions doesn't matter, what matters is who is your father... make sure he belongs to either SC, ST or OBC to get benefit in the future.

Gujjars will get a better (or lower) status than they had before ... kinda like saying that Gujjars are more backward now than they were before .... isn't it something to be excited about ? well, atleast the gujjars are .... LOL
