Tamilians, other than bemoaning and criticizing their plight, keep electing the same political leaders and the Drama parties, where outward show (putting up a myriad statues) is more important than substance. If they are really serious about good administration, why not they elect Dayanidhi Maran as the next CM. He is young,(does not walk on crutches !,) dynamic, has global exposure (Intel, USA) and is result oriented, as seen during his days as Telecomm- unications Minister at Delhi. Put him up as an independent and make him win, if you are really serious. Enough of this grandpa, son politics. The problem with people of Tamilnadu is that they want change but yet are not ready to make a break with the past. The two are absolutely contradictory.

i support a young and dynamic leader as Mr Maran as well, but the problem is Maran is educated,civilized and a good administrator-qualities of a good leader. However to survive in Indian politics one has to be a goon, have muscle power and behave like uncivilized barbarians, which i doubt if Mr Maran will be capable of.
No wonder, Azhagiri, who is known for his violent nature and influence amongst goons is making rapid inroads in TN leadership.

I support Dayanidhi Maram to become CM for Tamil Nadu. He can uplift Tamil Nadu in many ways and make us at Numero Uno.

Very difficult! Maran is good but he is also SELFISH guy working for personal gains.
