Is he a leader who can't afford to hear the critisism. More than PMK, DMK cadres attached BJP office and Dianakaran's office for Ram issue. He criticised Kamaraj and other congress guys like anything. He also told that "Malayalee nadalalama"(Whether Malayalee(MGR) can rule this state). Now he is talking about Kaduvetti guru is talking on Andra guy(Arkat veerasamy). DMK is the first party in TN who started vilonce to capture power from Congress. Here congress is so good compared to any Dravidian parties. But poor congress doesn't have any leadership to carry on its cadres both in state and centre. Seems all regional parties in TN thought that vilence is only way for polical survilence. TN people are happy with language pride or caste feeling and nothing on the developmnet side. I don't think there is an end to TN people's worries. GOD only can save this state.

Dont worry too much, TN is developing very well in DMK rule infact it is doing much better in development than the previous regime. some examples
1) thousands of crores of investment in electonic manufacturing like dell, motorola, samsung etc 2) Chennai is maintainng its growth rate in software exports. Govt has signed numerous MOUs to develop Tidel park 2, and 3 and SEZs with Tata DLF etc.
3) even in automobiles new companies like Nissan , renault, Hyundai, Caparo are making huge investments in TN ( if you remeber most of the MNCs were running away from TN to Bangalore and Pune during prev regime).
On the infrastructure front, more and more state highways are coverted into 4 lane hwys. Sea water desalination plant that eluded TN during Jaya's govt is getting ready. New MOUs for powerplants are getting signed. Chennai Ennore and Tuticorin ports are expanded. Chennai Airport, trichy madurai airports are getting expanded and made into international ones. All the MG Rail tracks are getting converted to BG. MRTS got completed, Metro rail will be kicked off soon ( Jaya wanted monorail with much less capacity).
For southern TN, Tata titanium project was given impetus
I can go on and on and on like this. But I hate to sound like a DMK propoganda person. I hope you get my point... do u?

Boss! All these projects were signed during previous regime itself. Nothing new has come up. Only political developments have happened like giving free TV and wasting Tax payers money and so on in this regime.

Please do a google search and find out who signed the MOUs with these companies and when it was signed. I bet you will be disappointed that it was all done in DMK regime. Jaya did not do anything to bring these investments. She only scared investors away. Please dont spread false information just out of your hatred towards DMK

I guess you don't live in TN, Mr. Vicky. Do you know that crime rate has increased manifold in the last 2 years? Times of India Chennai edition came out with the finding that chain snatching incidents in Chennai and suburbs in 2008 have increased 10 times since 2005. There are lots of other crimes that are also increasing. Organized crimes are also in the increase. Katta panchayath is being used to settle any legal issues between two parties and mostly the verdict is in favor of the rich and against the poor in such cases. Do you think this is development?

well, if you are making such allegation, could you please substantiate with proof ( atleast post the new article) where crime has increased 10 times. Your claim is highly dubiuos and ridiculous. For Gods sake Please dont tell me you read this news in "Namadhu MGR" magazine.
Secondly, how are you relating Chain snatching increase rate, to DMK's governance. Are you by any chance saying that MK is encouraging TN people to seriously involve in Chain snatching?
From whatever sources I have learnt, this government has elimiated quite a few antisocial elements in the name of encounter.

I have to agree with 'Indian' on the increase of crimes. When I was in Chennai until recently I could count at least two or three chain-snatching/rowdys beating up people and other hooliganism in the newspapers - especially the "Hindu" newspaper, poster-boy for the DMK govt. Look, it is not a secret that Mr. MK has amassed wealth by every means and that he is interested only in seeing his own clan continue to get a grip on TN govt. Yet, the so-called CBI hasn't done anything to catch him or any other crooked politicians. (case in point: MK's son, Azhagiri, who got out in spite of his murderous acts) I am disgusted with the Indian justice in not punishing the politicians.
