Tamil nadu politics

Both are birds of same feather.PMK is the most casitest pary born out of violence and corruption. He advocates only Tamil and indulges in english bashing. Whereas his own kith and kin in are put in the best reputed english medium educational institutions .He is a hypcrite having two yard sticks one to measure for him self and the rest for others. He is totally anti developmental like Gowde in Karnataka. In Tamil Nadu all parties are having one point program of looting.Still DMK is doing its best in improving the infra structure facilities of Tamil nadu when the others were not doing any thing.BJP should not attempt to rope in this party into their fold as they are the betrayers of the worst type.RN

Please you all try to understand the importance of studying in Mother Tongue. There is nothing wrong in advocating studying in Mother Tongue, But all the dravidian parties failed to take concrete steps in promoting Tamil as a Modern Language. They stopped with Thiruvalluvar and Tholkappaiar, Thats all. Only in rural areas mainly in Government Schools , Tamil Medium is taken for studying in all subjects. But in Urban areas , Tamil is completely prohibited even in speaking. There is heavy punishment for speaking in Tamil in most of the schools in Chennai.
Without changing the mindset of most of the people, just by blaming them for every thing cannot solve the purpose.

Then why donot study their children in Tamil medium schools?.A preacher should practice first before preach for others. Why should they advocate banning of english ?.By not learning hindi do you know as how much hardship we face in getting jobs in North. Those guys want others not progress and prosper. They want them to stay in abject povrety to work as their hench men. Some can be fooled some times but all cannot be fooleed all times.RN

BUt all the politicians are education their children in the best English medium schools while advocationg local vernacular for common man. In India IAS and IPS (which are Govt held exams) weightage for English skills is very high. So leaders children will be better tha others. Most of the subject books are written in West in English. How can we abolish english?

Mr.KundalaKesi,
I trust your words and I salute you. But please understand that India is a vast diverse country and please with different language will settle in different regions. I hail from Madurai (so as my 100 previous generations) and we still speak saurashtra as mother tongue. The only way to propogate good tamil is through competition and awarding the achievers rightfully. You cannot force anyone to study science in Tamil. I guess the TN government has done good so far as the language development is concerned, but forcing to learn only Tamil will just develop hatred, increase the division among Indians.
