We appear to be a society w/o principles. The father has spent a month in jail w/o evidence. Apart from loosing his daughter he has lost his business. No society should permit such draconian action on mere suspicion.
It is notable that no political party has noted anything amiss at the treatment being meted out to Dr.Rajesh Talwar. We are truly bereft of leaders.

Gentlemen, you all apparently feel that circumstantial evidence is enough to convict a man and that Dr.Talwar had no right to sleep soundly with a layout that permitted independent entry to his child's room. Tough standards. I wish they were applied even half as stringently on our leaders. However, my point remains: Dr.Talwar is the father. Hang him if guilt is proven. Till then treat him with commiseration. Only then will he be looked upon as an exception. Failing that we are inclined to think "What have fathers come to? We must prepare to live with suspicion." Turning neurotic would just be a step away.

Pawan, can you tell me then how come parents never knew what happened after someone broke through security in the house and murdered 2 people?

Pawan try to understand... if in a home an intruder comes they would be the first to know. They butchered their daughter for her amorous lifestyle and they should be belted punishment. Instead a poor fella is being harassed and tortured.
