No alternative to socialism
by sam on Jun 16, 2008 04:15 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I suspect India would move left sooner than later. There is huge discontent among masses right from the eight-hundrend million plus poor who earn less than 20Rs per day upto the lower middle class which is also having to bear the brunt of rising prices. All right-wing policies appear to have failed majority of the people. So why should they keep sticking to it?

Honestly, that is a complete bullshit. The fact is that left ruled states are ruled horribly with the lower class people suffering the most. WB, Kerala are worse than average performers, forget good performers. After all only if the states economy is good will they benefit. Additionally, issues of violence, goonda raj, etc also prevail. The only problem with left ruled states is that information is withheld by the ruling parties and the people of the states do not know what is going on outside. It is a matter of time before left is wiped out and also ruled as anti-national, which they are.
