In the year 1979 AASU ( All Assam Student Union) first start Gandhibadi Agitation against illigel bangladesi in Assam where more then 900 student are died in police/CRP firing .That time not a single indian political party support AASU N Assamese pepole"s Agitation. That time all political party keep distance from assam agitation saying regionalgim N against their vote bank politics ( specially Congress, N CPM).
