North India is a very unsafe place for women to live. Female infanticide, rapes, and other forms of female abuse seem to be all too common.

The biggest rapist is no one but the husband of a married woman. He rapes his wife almost every day. Why police does not take action - because they are themselves married!

There are better ways to let your women be "liberated". Getting her gang-raped, leading to her humiliation and subsequent suicide is not one of them.
