the article is good talks about the reality. but what it fails to address is all these people, zia, butto and all politicians had to give something for getting something.
all these jihadis had to fight, but waht does these army do is get the poor jihadis to fight aganist India in kashmir and many other states and keep the people of pakistan under fear that India might take pakistan in absence of army. Inreturn they get a huge salary and power to get what ever they want. so to get a hefty salary and to get things done without hardwork they need jihad or anything you claim
