- Well well, this does sits well on Advani's head. It's not that he has not tried hard. After all Bajpayee became a statesman from a simple politician by talking different things at different places / different times on the same subject. Time difference could even be just 24 hours. Bajpayee would say one thing in Delhi, another in Manali and yet another in Goa.
Advani must have been a real dis-illusioned man!
After all, Bajpayee enjoyed whole heartedly all good works done by him. It's Advani who travelled like Bhagwan Ramchandra on a Rath from Somnath to Ayodhya and incited Hindus to unite and finally tallied Lok Sabha setas from mere 4 to 180 !
Yet when time came, it's old man Bajpayee who took all the cream and left Advani to guard Akarshdham and Parliament. (It's different matter if he was sleeping during guarding Akarshdham,Rughunath temple and Parliament.)
When another opportunity came, Advani looked around for somebody to propose his name for PMship, George Fernades would not look into his eyes and rather started cleaning his spectacle.
What does poor Advani do ?
After all, to be the Prime Minister of this country, one has to become Pseudo Secular!
So he goes and praise Jinnha and now advises BJP to become close to Muslims and Christians.
And yes, he also ran to Sonia's doorstep with folded hands!!!
After all, kissa kursi ka hai!!!
So the latest his poetry and some "readymade-tears" from our lau-purush!

Dinna understand his running to Her Highness Madame Sonia Gandhiji's doorstep...
Was he trying to entice His Highness Prince Charming Rahul Gandhiji to join BJP?

Perhaps, convinced that the BJP had no chance of winning back Delhi, he swallowed his pride and fell on his knees in front of Royal Highness - "Madame if you want to replace MMS, then how about with me?"

Prehaps he thought Sonia is better than how his RSS masters humilated him and went to convey this to her?

Thought why not dump Kamala and marry the Italian? Get the Nehru-Gandhi tag and be PM?

Prabhat written well and it leaves no one in doubt that you are passonately commited to your cause.
We need to ask the same of Yediruppa about the small shrine in Baba Budangiri. This scenic place, nestled amidst the Western Ghats in the district of Chickmagalur was chosen by Sangh Parivar to make it the "Ayodhya of the South". Baba Budnagiri is a place of worship for both Muslims as well as Hindus, a sufi shrine. Datta, broke away from the mainstream Hindu practices and joined Bab Budan to establish a place of worship for the suppressed people from any religion. For several centuries people from all the communities have worshipped in this temple. The BJP in 2003 declared that the shrine needed to be liberated and cleaned of Muslim influence. A huge agitation was launched.
Would your BJP government in Karnataka now liberate Baba Budangiri?

Why, if you want it liberated, you are welcome to launch any agitation...
Don't always sit back and expect BJP to do all your dirty work for you...

That's what I said... .politicising it will stall things...
Hold on if you want it done by political means... else just go and grab the land like Congress backed looters do encroachments in Mumbai.... Congress later backdates their approval... That is the agreed political process... if you are in a hurry....

I know you want it desperately.... but hold on... or go for it yourself..

Why hold on? The BJP is in government on their own strength. All they do is to have a cabinet meeting and take a decision.

But the issue was politised by the BJP in 2003 with all your lotus flags all over Karnataka. So why depolitise it when they are in government and with single governmental order can obtain the desired objective they targeted in 2003

Siddamama:
Why is BJP this way, and not that way?... doesn't suit a pseudo like you...
Better figure out what Her Highness Madame Sonia Gandhiji's successor will look like... will it be His Highness Prince Charming Rahul Gandhiji? or not?... I think it will... but as I said, I don't go down that path... you are free to think what you want to..

I don't know about Bundagiri.... but your idea of liebrating it sounds okay... Just do it yourself this time around rather than politicising the issue... politicising just stalls things you know.

No need. In 2004, without a PM candidate, the elecorate inflicted a crushing defeat of the NDA and ended up much better off - we have now have the honor of having MMS as PM.
