McCain - geriatric warmonger vestige of yesteryear
by Narada Naradar on Jun 10, 2008 08:00 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

John McBush is a geriatric warmonger – a leftover of the cold war generation. Honed with the vision of spreading US imperialism by military might he lacks the masala required for leading the US in this global century.

McCain will represent the interests of the US military industrial complex. They consider India as a source of coolie labor. Right wing Hindoo extremists will back the McCain ticket. The Bharat Rakshak types who are perennially moaning about the West undermining India but entertain the same elitist mentality as the westerners they deride. The Bharat Rakshak pseudo Indian nationalists bark loudly in their site about the need to have someone in power in the US who will have Indian interests in mind. Their man will be McCain since he advocates the same right wing zealotry as these Hindu, BJP extremists.

Obama is the man for India. He represents a hope that perhaps one day even the downtrodden in India can aspire to genuine power in India. Obama has been to Pakistan and lived in Indonesia – as a Christian - and is familiar with the threat of Islamic extremism. South Asian US citizens will work tirelessly to get Obama in the White House. Dynastic despotism has crippled India – elect Obama to stop its perpetuation in the US.

Don't bring in Hindoo or muslim or (in between)converts in this..okay!. Muslim's and converts in subcontinent had the Hindoo roots ..so don't abuse your lineage /parentage.

As a matter of fact, anyone who is elected in USA deals with USA's interest whether McCain or Obama. Nobody will care for any country especially thrid world country where so much divisive people live.

It is so different from Indian politicians and Indian mindset ( ready to abuse other religion or belief), who have no national feeling. If you can not live together don't expect Obama or Mccain to put your house in order.

One thing is common every politician in USA also have a political posturing for election..where Obama denounced NAFTA but internally he held private conversion and assured Canada that NAFTA is not going anywhere, similarly McCain appeals to army /soldiers so he has another kind of posuturing.

What is your point - I make the point that Obama has first hand experience of being a minority in a majority Islamic culture. This is an experience that many Indians have had - being isolated in an environment where they are a majority.

Who is better for Indian interests - this is the question. A white man who hails from a family that has pursued American hegemony by military expansion or a person of color who has lived and experienced third world culture and is comfortable with it?

Obama after his credentials could have raked in the moolah - he however opted to work among the poor blacks in Chicago.

How many desis from IIM or IIT opt to work in Dharavi? Obama did the equivalent.

Ponder that

just because obama is coloured and a democrat does not mean that he is good for india. he is good for indians in the usa but not necesarily good for india itself given the democrats traditional antogonism towards india's nuclear capability, outsourcing etc. in contrast the republicans who might not be the best news for NRIs in the usa, are still the best option for india - especially given their positive engagement of india in recent years.

We NRI's in the US will do well regardless of who is in power. Life in India taught us resilience and we seem to have passed it on to our progeny.

The Republicans view Indians as coolies.
The Democrats see India as an inspiration.

India has had women leaders, minority leaders - and the impact has been minimal.

The US with a minority leader signals a coming of age. The trickle down will result in new age.

The Rapepublicans view Indians as folks who usurp their lifestyle.

The Democrats - especially Obama - view us Desis as folks who deserve to attain a western lifestyle - but without the rapacious consequenses.

Left did not allowed. Left, beware! When you begin to sleep, MMS will take his working tools again. Nobody is there to save Indian poor. Congress and BJP are American servants.

I very much doubt that Obama has the skill and resolve to solve America's problems much less offer any kind of meaningful assistance to other countries. If you remember, he promised to stop out-sourcing.

Once again the coolie mentality. Indian companies do NOT outsource. They implement applications. Vital, crucial applications that US companies cannot get done without the skills that India provides.

The Chinese outsource - they provide cheap goods that help maintain an American lifestyle.

Obama has proved his skills by merely becoming the nomineee. Never in the history of Caucasian civilization has a person of color achieved his status. Ponder on this alone.

Readers please don't buy into the crap posted(copy-paste) by rediff from whoever.john mccain is just another shadow of bush and he has no charm or personality as compare to Obama,he'll loose. It's true that Obama is inexperienced but only time will tell and also hope that Obama survives full term,if elected, because Redneck jerks will try to assasinate him, recism is everywhere and US is no exception either. If Obama said "will stop outsource, It is good for India, time to explore something on our own behalf.
