Geographically Australia is an isolated continent in Pacific ocean. USA ships are providing security to Australia, as Australia is not allowed to raise big military. Historically, australians are decandents of British, a close ally of USA. Till recently, they enjoyed patronage of UK. For purpose of high salaried employment, many australiand and newzelanders settled in NATO countries and USA. This explains USA influence upon australian policies.

1. who says australia is not allowed to raise big military? big miltary costs money ... that may be the reason but no country ever put a limit on their recruitment. In fact, the new australian govt. pulled out its troops from Iraq much to america's dislike.
2. Yeah, australia was a british colony and so britishers live there but so was USA - some 230 years ago.
3. For purpose of high salaries, several desies are working in USA, UK and in australia .... so what's great about that argument of yours. I bet that there are more Indians working in USA than there are australians in the USA.

So What.. u know Australia supplies 35% of the Chinese Iron requirement and 45 % of Japanese steel requirement...
u know our Tata is exporting most of its steels to Nissan making Indian steel price higher by 20% compared to China & malaysia...

u better first go through all the steel export details than say wether the price of steel is higher or lower in india. it is still 15 to 20% lower than the foreign arket

@loan shark The west /europeans are in fact had ensured that Australia be a Whgite Racist country in the pacific !That's why they did not engaged African slaves as they did in america but made Australia Penal Colony and send Whir crooks /convicts to australia ! If any european wants to go to Australia he needs no visa and even for workpermit his passport is enough !The vast land of Australia is reserved for Whites mostly !Even americans tried to send africans back to Africa under the guise of sending them to native country and even send many African Americans and even created Liberia a experment that failed !It is difficlt to explain the white psyche of Racist European in few words ! After two world wars now the west have recognised that they have to be one as one Race and now has European Union and one Euro ! They have socilst policies for their western citizens ! But by papmering their Whites they still want to exploit to Asians /Africans !
