was in Bangalore for 2 Years, Crimes are quite common in Bangalore.

in my view Police are not effective in bangalore in controlling the crimes.

Once called "pensioners paradise",Bangalore is now having threat from both outside(terrorism)
and inside(rowdism,kidnappers..).
The city has grown like anything in past few years but the police force seems to be still the same.
