So was the Manhattan project by scientists close to Hitler's Bomb Factory. After the war the Russians(Soviets) and the Amercans siphoned off not only the Nazi Nuclear but almost all weapon technology known that day - rockets, submarines, theories of OR etc. The Brits and French (and Israel)got it from the US, the Chinese begged borrowed and stole from the USSR. And true, so did India from wherever it could lay it's hand on . The Pakis got from the Chinese via N. Korea. Iraq, Libya,Iran,Osama ...Phew! So much for non-proliferation!!!
