I am still not aware with Golbalaisation and how does it effect cost in India. Example Steel: India produces a lot of Iron ore but imports a lot of Coal and metcoke(one prime raw material for Steel manufacturing) though the indian miner living conditions are not improving as their wages have not improved, how does the prices of SAIL and Tata increases having their own captive mines. India steel on Exworks basis is costliest than the European Steel manufacturers, intrestingly Indian labor is one thenth of the European labor cost. Same goes for Cement industry. If the global prices fo food are increasing why do our farmers commit suside for the lack of funds to sustain their own living. When India's GDP has grown by 9% and goverment kitty has increased by more than 30% in terms of taxes collection still we dont see any much developments. What hapens to the production of private players like Reliance and Essar, why does not Indiann government buy from them. With the social fabric like india where we have more of poor people than rich a capatilist economy is dangerous, why the Indian government cannot force indian companies to keep indian input/output cost terms for companies manufacturing in India. Why do Reliance Energy cost goes-up when the supply from the source has not increased its cost. Why? The present government is fooling all of us, the corporate people are also milking us like anything as there is no one to control them. India will pay a huge price for this

Dear Sriram, Remember the Govt and corporate world has to work together for the existiance of both. Today we curse mayawati for her dominating politics but the poor people have faith in her because both the goverment and the "Corporate" are milking them. Climbing the ladder and having our own fill is not the solution, the complete social upliftment is important, at this moment the gap of haves and dont haves are increasing and this is going to be a big problem later on. Tomorrow with the subsidies from the goverment will make the farmer more capable to sustain and if he ask for a price hike it again going to effect us. Just because i am happy my childrens are getting better education and later on they can go and work in US is not going to solve the local problem. We need to make our country the best to enable everyone to live at a better standards. Instead of migrating to other countries we should make a country where every one in world wants to come and stay/work. Profits are not the only thing.

Regarding remedies both of you should realise India's problem are two 'P's - Population & Politics. To check population India should follow Chiana's policy. But again this requires Politicians hence not possible. Indians are destined to be ruined.

dear lost indian, my post was exactly the same sentiments as yours , its just so realistic that my sarcasm was possibly lost when reading it. i meant it in a sarcastic way ,my vehemence at the brutality of cruelty of pure profit motive without social awareness and human compassion. thanks for telling me so decently unlike so many posts i see(including mine ) cheers
