This question should be asked to those Dallits instead. If they think they are same as others and better than animals, then they should stop demanding for reservation and quota. One hand they say treat us equally on the other hand create all nightmares for public and government do all sort of disruption and agitation in demanding quota, saying they are the untouchables and they need reservation, so first they should decide what they are..whether untouchables or equal to others.

Big Yes... you r right..besides why dalit consider them lower...everyone shud have their own dignity...stand up your selves...consider your cast as the best one....have your own confidence.....

The issues you raised are tackled, by the general public at large, and considering the terrorist threat looming everyone's life, these are stray incidents.

And as for a Dalit Sankaracharya, there are so many spiritually enlightened sadhus from Dalits also. Just open your eyes you will find out.
