MEA officials got jealous because burney succeeded where they couldnt. In fact this shows that all of the IAS/IPS/IFS officers are nothing but a bunch of exam superstars but fail completely when it comes to negotiating or doing anything substantial. All these officers are nothing but "Chaddi" Pehelwans and IMHO should be fired. No one should be fast tracked just because of educational qualifications. The GOI policy of recruitment must emphasize promotions, accountability and lateral movements. This present policy of resource management in a country that has potential unlimited resources to be tapped.
