It is your misconception.Every verse in quran has some back ground and context.Just picking up few verses from here and there will give you wrong implication.Islam discourages any voilence against innocent but it also commands to fight against aggressor till death.

Yes, the quran has some back ground and context but that context was 7th century Arabia. Nobody can follow what was written in book more than 1400 years back today in any part of the world.
Btw how the words of an all powerful and most merciful creator could have different meaning when taken out of context? Two plus two is always four, irrespective of time and space.

Two plus two is four bcoz u know maths but if u don't know maths........so before using versus of Quran understand Quran then u will know what Versus means.............

which is better ? which is better for your life ? for the life of the women in your family ? for your future generations ?

There is a verse which says: If ye held god, god will help you......... what does that mean? The god wants help from punny guys like me????????
