opposition was right?
by Gummadivally MuraliKrishna on Jul 31, 2008 12:04 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

the opposition to the deal by BJP and others was precisely on this. Now that the cat is out of the bag the PM and his coterie should explain to the nation why they lied to us and why we should still go ahead with this agreement.

If BJP was really opposing this why didn't they create required people support ? Why they didn't do a Rath Yatra to convince people of this ?

They were like sitting ducks through out the deal. Both opposition and ruling parties were equal partners in this deal.

Though they can't sell Indians they sold Indian souls.

Don't talk nonsense. Do u mean to say BJP supported the govt on this deal? BJP had been telling that they want this deal with some amendments.

BJP is atmost an communal party same like all Muslim parties in india..atmost they can organise and communal flare up and build on the roads and public places temples and road blocks..burn national property and beat up or kill Christians..thats it..infact when 5 yrs in power these scums never gave the Hindus their Ram temple..but gave more sops to the Muslims..at the cost of Christians..

All parties in India r communal, though only BJP is dubbed so by the 'secular' inteligentia and English media. BJP, Shiv Sena speak for Hindus; Akali for Sikhs, almost all other parties follow the policy of appeasing communal Muslims.

There is nothing new in this article.

Everybody knew USA would cancel any Nuclear deal if India does further test.

There would be sanctions with or without 123 agreement.

- It's to be seen if India is willing to do another test or not. Vajpayee told the whole world that India would not do further tests.

Still, the right to test lies with India.

If we are willing to go survive the sanction, then nobody can stop us from going for further test.

[ The fact is even if we go for test and there are sanctions, the world would come around after few years to do business with us, because we are destined to grow economically.

If USA can do business with communist china, USA can do business with economic powerhouse democratic India.]

This is known to the Indian Govt. as well as the opposition.

But Advani needs something to oppose, else he would be irrelevant.
