As time pass on new and clever arguments will come from many corners on the various clauses applicable to India. We have already signed the death-warrant. So no more question. Just live as an obedient servant. That is the contribution made by the CONGRESS!!
Look at the statement 'The 123 Agreement does not supersede the Hyde Act. It's a complement and necessary part" and "No aspect of this deal recognises India as a nuclear weapons state."
Another gossip 'Mr. Burns will take charge of a company which is designated for the construction of a few nuclear plants here.' The discussions are over and the terms are finalised. India need to sign in the dotted lines. From the informations available the Projects will be on turn key basis. May be to build and operate and transfer. BOT. The terms are 'confidential.' By all probability it will not come in the ambit of RTI act 2005. The government of India has no role in the project till it is handed over when it will be a junk for decommissioning. Decommissioning is very expensive in Billions of dollars. The project area will be declared 'a protected area' and so no one will be allowed there. Men from abroad will come for the BOT project. Just labourers will be from India. So the know-how will be in tact with them. Complete cost control will be by the company. They will play cut-throat methods to make profit. The politicians will be purchased by the same method used during trust vote. Common man will be just onlookers!! Alas!!

Gopal, by now everyone knows: "No aspect of this deal recognizes India as a nuclear weapons state." Did this come to you as a surprise?
Isn't this an exception for India because this deal does not recognize India as a non-nuclear power country also?
Rest of you post is just some conspiracies thoughts you have but none of it is a fact.

I posted a wrong text. Sorry. Here is the real post please.
Have you come across any of the 'cut throat methods' adopted by these people? Look they are here not to serve India. Unless they are given a license to make profit as they like sure they will not venture into all these plays. Read the technical and financial aspects of N-plants and come with your comments. Some broad pictures are available here in this forum. For further information go to google and search. Do you have any idea about the decommissioning cost? I gave you the link and url. A cursory idea was given by Reporter. I presume you are a Tech. Debate on technical ground. Not on political ground. They (Politicians)are after the “SHARE”. Hope you are not for that. Thanks

It is not the time for jokes, friends. Help each other to popularise this solar power generation. The media should come up to publicise this project free of cost. The progress of this Solar Power venture depends on the patronage we give to the promoters. Rediff can contribute by publishing more such articles and providing helpful URL s so that interested persons can access it. The government can codify the subsidy issues to make it easily accessible to ordinary men. All government agencies should include this subject (Solar Energy) in their day to day discussions. NGOs are the people the most useful agencies for spreading this awareness to the people. All class rooms should be made the discussion platform for this projects. No harm to include several lessons in the curriculum. In all classes. The content can be prepared according to the level of comprehension.
