An Immoral Deal
by Chakravarthy Muralidhar on Jul 31, 2008 12:52 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

This immoral deal has happened because of our corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.Almost all the politicians and the top echelon of babus in govt ( a confidential survey reveals nearly 1200 of them) have their kith and kin settled in US,Canada,Australia or NZ. Of these more than 80% in the US (note including our PM,FM,etc, etc). All these politicans and babus have significant assets stashed away there. They all want to have one leg in India and one in US to enjoy the best of both. This the US Administration knows too well. They use this knowledge to arm twist these weak politicians and babus to formulate and put in place policies and agreements favouring US and against India's soverighnty and national interests. After all these corrupt buggers are more interested in getting permanent residency in US after retirement while retaining their Indian passport. If these spineless reptiles do not work in US's interests now when they are in power, they cannot hope to get easy and welcome entry into US and would be treated as Narendra Modi is being done now -denying visa shamelessly. And to talk of US transferring civil nuke technology to India, is a laughable statement at best and a contemptible lie at the worst.Yankees haven't built anything other than more and more hideous N-bombs in the last 30 years! Yet they keep droning about civil nuke tech transfer to India.

The immorality of the deal is on the part of the Indian traitors headed by MMS,who has turned out truly a blackguard.

You have hit the nail on the head. Terminate all babus and politicians from their posts, who have kith and kin depenedent on or living in the West, if india is to progress.

Good write up
Selection of Bureaucrats should be based on the knowledge one has about India and Indians. It need not be limited to a person who qualified from abroad. His perception about India is very important. One might have written many books and received many awards from India and abroad. But it should not be the criterion for selection of a person to any coveted post. India has a system evolved over many millenniums. Any change should be in line with this system. We should not try to ape something from some where. Any one who has a feeling that India is a country which is meant to serve other countries should be avoided. There are some people here who think like that. We need some one who worship 'MOTHER INDIA'. Not in words but in deeds. We need someone like Lokamanya Tilak who cried 'Fredom is my birth right'. We need some one who uphold Indian culture and values. We need some one who speaks for India in every forum. We need someone who never spoke the words 'oh these Indians'!! It is true there are people in the corridors of power in Delhi who use these words very often!!
Above all he should not work for the sale of India – piece meal including sovereignty and freedom.
