Let us wish positively that we will achieve the approval from IEAE Board of Governers and the NSG for the India Specific Safeguards Agreement. This will end up the neuclear embargo and the related isolations India was facing for the last 34 years. It is clear that the majority of International community is atleast now feels that this discrimination to India is unjust and that's why they are now ready to support India. As opposition pointed out, ofcourse there will be commercial interests also. But it will be stupid to think that somebody will supply us the neuclear fuel free of cost or with out any agreement to meet the international norms. The achievement of this step will give India far reaching positive results with the advancement of our own neuclear research programmes simultaneously with the best utilisation of the latest technologies which were not exposed to us due to the embargo.
Beyond the narrow minded political interests, let us think about our country. If we achieve anything, it will benefit the whole country and without taking risks, we can never achieve anything. India is a strong and largest democratic country which stand on its clear strong principles and values, and is respected by world civilizations.
