NGOs Hiding under the Burkha
by Veera Popuri on Jul 31, 2008 05:33 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Where are the NGOs called Human Rights Activists, when the Indian cities are burning and burned bodies everywhere?. Are they involved in donating their blood to the victims at least. These NGOs are more concerned about the human rights of the terrorists than the real victims of the terrorism of the terrorists.

Very well said. These pseudo-intellectuals like Shabana Azmi,Mahesh Bhatt & Pankaj Mishra (Author) are the first to point out atrocities by Indian forces in Kashmir etc. Now after these blasts have you even heard any of these bullcrap artists coming in support for the victims? These people can only harp my brother. But I am glad that people like you know the real face of these NGO's etc. It's as if a soldier's or a common man's blood doesn't count. It's only the terrorists and the criminals that should be treated the "Right". way!Political correctness is ruining this country.

And even our media. As if every "gully" ka reporter has a stand on things that he/she doesn't have a clue about. I read a few posts on this page and it mentioned that Gujarat cop-Mr.Vanzara. Now why the hell is he suspended (is he in Jail by the way?). All he did was to shoot a criminal.Did he harm any common people like us by killing that criminal. But the moment media sensed the story about the encounter-it villified him. And not to forget all our so called "intelligentsia" started debating endlessly in support for the criminal. Now where are these "Booker Prize" winners. Can't they see blood on the streets? Can't they see a family that has lost everything? Where are these so called intellect of India hiding now?
