Instituting an expert committee under Mr. R K Pachauri to find an alternative alignment and avoid any damage to 'Ram Sethu'could have been thought of and done much earlier. This good sense has prevailed after the sentiments of Indians and Hindus have been outraged by Central and Tamilnadu Governments. Who would forget that the politicians did even cast doubts about the very existence of Lord Rama. Now that the UPA Government has realised its mistake it should apologise to the Nation for insulting LORD RAMA and hurting the religious feelings of Hindus.
