Cross border firing between India and Pak is a regular affair somewhere along our long long border.

Why is it news now? Are we gonna invade them?

It does not seem to be a mere case of waking up now.

There is a point here? And I am missing it.

Cross border firing had stopped for a few years before this latest round of firing happened. that is why it is the news. We are not invading them, they have already invaded us.
