somewhere else it is mentioned that if mind is not focussed there is no use reading books.will you stop reading books.if somebody says everything is faith,so you will stop using your brain.dont try to misquote.hinduism is a liberal way of life,so different people say different things.we are not blind followers like other religions

You posted this same matter before, why are you repeating it? You may like to read the contents of the web-site 'defending-hinduism(.)8m(.)com' as well. It talks of how even mantras have an effect. It's not my web-site, so I hope rediff doesn't delete this message

IDOL worship or not, is nobody's problem... Individual cn pray the he wants... The proble is beleiving in Murdering people in the name of religious faith. large number of muslims interpret or misintrepret, but do that...that is the problem..

alert ashoka was not a muslim when he killed thousands of people. he left hinduism becuase he was fed up with the violence and he became buddhist.

dear Arif Samrat Ashok waged war to expand his kingdom,after realising his folly ,he wanted to repent hence he followed buddha...(buddha is one of the avathar of ten of lord vishnu) hence he did not leave hinduism but followed his heart .

Ashoka was the Alexander of the east.. he was over ambitious and had only one goal in life expand his territory which he did.. but then what. So he moves to the next level to spread this new religion in the place which he conquered. So many centuries after his death you and me are debating wasting our time discussing about him and this is precisely what he wanted "FAME"....samjhe bhidu. Mr Bin Laden was struggling to become the custodian of the holy mosques but since he was kicked out of Saudi he resorted to his other techniques to potray himself as the saviour of Islam. So bachaa this is not about any religion... it is about personal interests of the rich and powerful.
