They are telling the Americans - We are currently a country of poor mad men and we'll blow everyone up. So, you guys should enhance your development assistant and make every Pakistani rich, so they don't have a reason to blow themselves up.
Some US lawmakers have bought this and want to triple the US aid to $1.5billion. If past is any indication of things to come, all that money will be used to kill more people.
But, if US wishes to go in and kill the terrorists in Pakistan, Pakistan will say that is precisely the kind of action, that increases the number of Terrorists!!
Pakistan is like a person who is having a deadly contagious disease, and is spreading it to others. He won't cure himself, neither will he let others come near him to cure him.
If it was a human being perhaps he could've been isolated and even exterminated to extinguish the threat to others. :-(

See Pakistan has certainly this business model but Americans are just not supporting them because they bought their story!There are many angles to it!Pakistan has so far played very well with world powers! Besides USA,it shows its close proximity to CHina also and get millions in return.Even their missiles and Nuke perhaps! India coming closer to USA might tilt the balance towards india!Because US created pak to counter USSR's closeness with India! Also China & India coming closer can be dangerous to Pak. Pak also potrays itself as powerful Islamic nation and has soft corners towards terrorists! But that policy is backfiring when taliban is all set to take control of the country! In nutshell Pakistan is at the peak of getting its foreign aid!and cannot sustain for long to walk with legs on different boats!
