What I have said is 100 percent in practice in West Bengal if not elsewhere also. Appeasement has never solved anything and never will like a spoilt child who has been made socially unfit by its parents. Unless you have an attitude of Zero Tolerance towards terror, it will keep growing. Today, West Bengal is the safest place for terrorists of every shade and country to hide and move about with impunity. In every major terror strike there is inevitably a link with West Bengal and/or Bangladesh. Even the Kandahar Airbus hijack had a prominent link with Leftist Mr. Chatterjee's state. It is the biggest gateway for settling infiltrators from across the poorly manned borders to be given Indian citizenship papers for settling down in any part of India thereafter.

If action was taken against RSS in 1991 and if only hate mongering RSS /BJP leaders were tried for treason after 91 riots and punished, this country would have been today a much safer place to live. Instead, Advani, Bal Thakare and Company are still roaming freely on the streets although they are main accused in Babari Masjid Demolition case. It is 17 long years and the case is still undecided.

You are true, if police really wants to hunt these terrorists they can catch them in border areas of bengal. The worst fact is that these illegal muslim bangaldeshis are patronised at some places by hindu CPM leaders just for sake of votes. You will find some of these terrorists hiding as cadres of CPM in villages and police is not able to laid their hands on them if somehow they get information.
