What would he say ? "I betrayed my party for POWER" ??? He was made a speaker because CPM was supporting UPA. As long as he is a speaker, he should be independent. Agreed. But when his party has withdrawn support to UPA, he has moral right to quit the job. Instead of that he simply raised anti-BJP sentiments and defied party. He is a typical example of how power hungry humans are.
