About national monuments and Ram sethu
by Rajan Sodankur on Jul 29, 2008 04:51 PM   Permalink

The cetral and state governments have erected national monuments and been maintaining them at tax payers money and at loss of valuable residential/agricultural lands for those leaders who divided the country into the great Indian nation into Hindustan & Pakistan thereby perpetuating conflicting two nation theory and related national headaches; for those "Aya Ram and Gaya Ram" politicians whose names even theri grand children may not remember without amemorial and who divided Indian society in the name of class(labor/capitalists.Naxalites, caste(SC/ST, backward/forward), religion, language(Hindi vs Tamil), region (Andhra, Tamilnadu, Karnataka,Kerala), race(Dravidian/Aryan); mark you, all these will meet the fate of those of Lenin in Russia, Saddam Hussain in Iraq, Shah of Iran in Iran. the future generation will throw them int Indian oceans out of disillusionment and the pains in the forms of riot related killing of innocent people, killing of police and other law enforcing agents, uprooting people to drive them away to neighboring states as refugees (like in Kashmir. Is there a single idea/concept/symbol like Lord Ram or Lord Krishna which has been uniting most Hindus of India over such a large area and over such long many centuries? People who twist facts for selfish ends and break the country and its society for short term gains will pay a heavy price. Even the apparently invulnerable Shah of Iran or King of Nepal or Saddam Hussain of Iraq perished against people's wrath.
