TERROR ATTACKS AND CRIME
by PRAMESWARN RADHAKRISHNAN on Jul 29, 2008 05:43 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The heinous crime committed by these criminals escape because of laxity in the system of vehicle registration itself. Each State may have some unique registration no. but is it enough?

High time the Center takes the initiative to register all the vehicles nation wide classifying them separately for two-wheeler, three wheeler, four-wheeler, light and heavy vehicles etc. The registration and the chassis no should have relationship and should be controlled in a super computer by the Centre- perhaps a Federal Crime detection Agency but it is accessible at the State level, when required. Unless the vehicle registration and driving licence issuing system is over hauled the detection of such crime is next to impossible. Will our Home Minister wake up?

There are ways one can stop these terror attacks. It need not be just the governments alone. The most effective one will be to attack the root cause and by bringing an awareness in the Muslim Soceity about the damage these type of attacks will have on them, the immediate casualities could be of non muslims but in the long term it will be the Muslim Community which will suffer. I think the learned and educated from the Muslim should rise upto this challenge. Terrorists find it easy making inroads into the minds of Indian Muslim Youth and influence them, we need to stop that. The Inidan Muslim has to understand that these terror outfits are using us for their own motives, which is destabilizing India. They are least concerned about the upliftment of Indian Muslims. If one is a true Muslim (liberal or fundamental) than he will not indulge in these type of terror attacks which target innocent human beings.

i respect your views and hope there are more like you.
but the sad aspect of islam is that the more educated muslims are into these terrorist activities.
have you ever heard that an uneducated muslim rickshaw-walla or a muslim daily labourer is involved in any terrorist activity?
NONE.
Why?
