As long as politicians are not hit by these terrorists, they will continue to bicker. Because for them the life of a common man is of no significance.
The only incident in which commoners were saved from terrorists, was in case of Kandahar hijack, when NDA had to release some terrorist to achieve that. Though it was an unfortunate act of NDA, it yielded because the loss of over 100 Indians may have been seen adversely by the public which compare it with the release of some terrorists earlier by VP Singh regime for release of Rubaiya Sayeed (daughter of Mufti) - it is a different matter that this woman does not have any sense of gratittude to India (may be she and her father were hand in glove for that kidnap drama). But all those who oppose BJP/NDA speak of that Kandahaar incident forgetting to mention how many common citizens were released because of that. We do not know what would have been the reaction had the government not negotiated.
We know what happened when a VVIP fell to terrorist bullets in 84. The same Congress and its henchmen carried out a massacre, which could had no comparison.
Point is politicians do not feel the pain of a common man. When they are hurt, they ensure the common man suffers through their party goons.
