UNcivilization
by ravi sharma on Jul 28, 2008 08:12 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is one of the negative side-effects of retaining the casteist culture/civilization. The civilization whose byproduct is caste system is something to be ashamed of and should be called UNcivilization.(your comments: India is one of the few civilisations today which has managed -- albeit in a diluted manner -- to retain intact much of her culture and spirituality from the Vedic ages. )

would it be reasonable for the speaker to ascertain the facts about the bribery in a matter of 2-3 hrs no matter who are the bribed/bribing parties. It will also set a bad precedent. Tomorrow any MP would walk into the parliament with currency notes and expect the speaker to halt the proceedings.

Hopefully, you are aware that caste system isnt the only contribution from hinduism to this world. In any case, it wasnt the caste system but its misinterpretation that you are projecting as a negative. First seek to understand, then open your mouth (or start using the keyboard!)
