Following measures r required for dealing with the mad Islamic terrorists:
1. Good Muslims should gather courage and create public opinion amongst fellow Muslims against these terrorists, who r now not sparing even hospitals. They r worse than animals. Definitely Allah has not given permission to anyone to kill innocent and patients.
2. Muslim organisations should strongly criticise these activities and issue Fatwa against terrorist activities.
3. Govt should re-introduce strong anti terror law like Pota, which was removed just to please communal Muslims.
4. Govt should not further delay hanging of the biggest terrorist Afzal just for getting some votes of communal Muslims.
5. Govt should propagate one child family planning on the lines of China (doing it since 1979). Many poor Muslims hv lot of children. Hence they cannot b brought up properly. This also gives rise to terrorism.
6. Govt should investigate what is taught in Madrasas.

I appreciate your thinking in this lines.
Definitely promoting education within the muslim community may help reducing such incidents. (Dont take an example of educated youths involved in this). Many jobless youths who are uneducated gets in to this type of act for no great reason..but by brain washing.
We need a fair and strong law to contain terrorism rather than going with Fatwa. If you remember, very recently, Fatwa was given by Delhi Masjid Moulana against this terrorism.
Pota was removed not to please communal muslims. Whole bunch of Human rights activists were against it, since this was mis-used by some political outfits for torturing innocents for their cause.
Having brought up in poor family does not really raises terrorism. It is the mis-guidance which leads to terrorism. If poor families become terrorists, 14 crore muslims in india should have become terrorists.
Providing a approved curriculam in Madrassas with the help of Muslim Religious leaders is the right approach in avoiding mis-use of such system by terrorists, if it is true.

I totally second you. No one these days is interested in finding out the cause and prevention for these problems. They are just repeating the same lines of 'Ahimsa' and not doing anything else.
