Gujarat Riots is the biggest Stain in governance of Independent India. Pilgrims in a train burn alive when it catches fire. Fire may have been accidental or planted. Government should condemn this (act) and vow to get to the bottom of the incident. Gujarat riots take place and innocent people die. Could be anger displayed due to the initial information regarding the train. It can (but should not in a civilised society) happen. Government does not condemn this riot and appears to be sympathizers of the rioters. Message was clear that it was government sponsored. Government is elected to take care of all the people living in the state and not only one community. This was the worst message sent out by the MODI government. BJP instead of condemning MODI and/or the incident, appeared to be favouring MODI ever since and are even projecting him to be the PM of India one day. This is the reason hatred is spreading in BJP ruled states. BJP can come to power since Hindus are majority and fear monger has been spread by BJP.
To combat spread of this hatred, BJP should introspect and take proper actions against MODI. This message will clearly demonstrate a step in the right direction as NC MP Omar Abdullah spoke in his speech during debate. This will hopefully stop spread of this low intensity, localized spread of inborn terrorism.

Why the same rule does not apply on Congress for anti Sikh riots in Delhi. What riot had Hindoos done in Bangladesh where one who even condemn the riots is turned a refugee for life (Taslima). Its basically in the religion.

In civilized society the natives should not be thrown out of their home state and ethnic cleansing should not be done
In civilized society a writer is not allowed to put forward her onions on a religion, while a painter can draw what ever he wants regarding other religion goddess.
In civilized society only some cartoons of Danish origin cause for protests and semi riots in aggressive way (because of Danish riots offices of RSS and VHP were attacked in India)
People die in train as it was inflamed from out side at a railway cross, but the secular media says its accident. Yeah people ignited the stoves and closed the doors from inside. the stone pelters are innocent

We all know what happened in Gujarat was a crime but by taking modi to gallow what would you achieve. look at the bigger picture. first prove that modi was indeed behind the crime

Gujarat riots were bad but the biggest act of barbarism was the mass killings and exodus of Kashmiri Pandits by the majority community of Kashmir. Nobody has condenmed it the way people have condenmed post Godhra riots because it iss not fashionable to condenm sufferings of Hindus.

Government did not condone the act but retracted its step to stop further rioting. CM even sacrificed his government in order to stop rioting. It may have been too early in the steps of confidence building that backfired.
My point is that ruling Government should never support any wrong by anybody. But steps have to be taken to bring peace and harmony.

I agree AP. Whenever Hindus die - dismiss it as petty politics by Hindus, but when Muslims die its a genocide. We Hindus are the only race of people, who devalue our own community, in the name of being tolerant to muslims. Shame on all Hindus who do this. Im astonished that even after all this, some great self righteous Hindus want to continue appeasing muslim sentiments.
