Jehad or Whatever
by S Ramanujam on Jul 27, 2008 05:41 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The poor countries like India and Pakistan can not afford to have terrorism as it is against economic development and upliftment of the common man. These countries need to live in peace and economic co-operation like good neighbours do in other parts of the world- say Europe.
Who gains from this senseless massacre.
If Jehad is to be launched at all it should be against poverty-hunger-unemployment-illeteracy-superstition and the like-not against the common man.

Jihad and terrorism is not an issue of poor or rich. Terrorist belong to only one community. That is Muslim. Osama also praising Allah and Killing in the name of Allah. Is his Allah is different than an ordinary Muslim. Then they have to clear their stand.

Terrorist Allah is not our Allah.

Until they do it they should be blamed.

Very well said. Salute!!
The problem with this part of the world is that we lack thinkers. We have accepted democracy without knowing what democracy actually means. It is a shame that we have so many convicts representing us in the parliament.
The religious fanatics can hijack democracy only because we lack the thinkers that can strengthen democracy.
Can anybody imagine a political party in US floated by the supporters of the assassin of Abraham Lincoln ?
The only credit that goes to our democracy is that we have regular elections apart from that the fundamentals of democracy are totally ignored.
