People on this board promoting hatred should be banned from rediff! Our nation is reeling from this tragedy to begin with and the last thing we all need as mature and sensible Indians is ignorance and fanning the flames. These acts actually work in favor of these corrupt politicains who will not do jack...go to Pakistan and sip tea with them after lecturing us Indians about how they are with us in our struggles! I just want to vomit!
I am an Indian Muslim and I love my country. Maybe it is shocking for a Hindu to see that. But most Indian muslims feel the same way. The only problem is that their love for India is never put on front page news while these acts are.

I am very sorry but if you are an Indian muslim and you feel patriotic urges towards your own country, its news to me, and you guys will have to go above and beyond the normal to prove it.
after all wothout the sympathy from muslim society these perpetrators cant function. You have to come out in the open against the islamic war on India, about things in Kashmir etc

You are wrong there, if it is a news for you that the patriotism of certaib community is a news for you.
No one has to prove their patriotism to anyone just because they from Muslim / some particular community. It is a wrong criterio. We have to be honest with ourselves and assess the scale of first our own Indianness first.
Can these corrupt oliticians be termed as patriots just bcoz they are hindus!!
i agree with u Ahmad, but the sad part is that at times like this u wud find hindus attacking muslims, muslims attacking hindus at this message board... i do not have anything against any religion... some of my good friends are muslim... but the 1% tht bring bad name...either in name of religion or the mentality...which is sad

That's what we need. Us Indians have strong bonds as Hindus and Muslims and outsiders are clearly jealous of that. Which other country has what India has in terms of religious harmony? Look around the world and people are constantly fighting each other over religion. But here we have long history of being friends. Hell, we even kicked the British out together. So we should be able to withsatnd this together.
