TADA was allowed to lapse by the PVN goverment in 1995, under the pressure of you know who. It was not in force by the time NDA came to power. So they had to draft POTA.

POTA or LOTA? Attack on Akshardham, Parliament, Sankatmochan Temple happened when POTA was available. But what can you do when LK Advani was sleeping through all attacks since he was dreaming how to become PM?

So even having POTA there was terrorist strike means it shows that we need to have still more strict law compared to POTA. Removing of POTA will not help....u understand that first...then talk..

Before posting a message, please check your facts. TADA was left to lapse deliberately in 1993 by the Congress for minority appeasement. POTA was enacted in 1999. POTA was purposefully repealed by Congress. Again for the muslim vote-bank.
