In the context of the allegation he has made there is no need to identify hiim with a party affiliation. He is a Rajya Sabha member and therefore one of the leaders of the nation. If the press reports are true the allegation he has made is a very serious one and let us hope that he would pursue it relentlessly and determien the truth.
If such allegation is merely propaganda technique, he will use it in a 'low intensity' fashion only. He will not pursue the matter lest it backfires on him.
His allegation has now become test of his integrity. And the manner he pursues his allegation will show us how much water he really holds. Presently he is quite credible and infact quite likeable! If he fails to pursue the allegation, least we can do is to ignore him.
