Save India
by Gopal on Jul 26, 2008 12:10 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Dear India
The N-deal, surrendering of our sovereignty.
Signed on the black day
All political parties are out with scam, criticisms, blames etc.
More subjects will be born and die out to keep the people busy
Like the story of a dog and the bone
Very soon the N-deal will be signed by our “respected PM”.
With his hand tainted while disfiguring the democratic face of India
To get nuclear energy after a decade!
Projecting a glossy picture ahead.
Several discussions are over on project implementation.
The agreements are ready to sign including LOANS.
With intriguing clauses with far reaching consequences
Limiting India's interference
All shrouded in the word 'confidential'
To be signed in the dotted lines.
The congress has no say again.
They have already collected the 'share'.
In between, other political parties had the share,
Hope not?
The details could be known via media or gossip?
The whole drama will continue till all papers are signed.
Looser?
The dear nation- its sovereignty and independence.
Gained through sacrifices of many PATRIOTS across India
Spanning 100 years.
Start flow of FDI -abundant
The share market get a sudden boost
Destined to stop when the FDI stops
Feel of comfort in every field for a while.
Contd...

Dilly dallying by special interests
Delay in project, warranting revision of project cost
Prevailing leaders get the share, both sides
No murmuring!
Device mechanism to connect unit price with inflation
If not there in the original deal
No murmuring!
Several excuses from treasury benches and allegations from opposition.
Everything moves as per schedule.
Uranium shortage, excuses, blame on world market
Regular revision of unit price
Depending on the dictated price of Uranium
Near end of Uranium supply, idling the plant
Decommissioning of plants...
Costing $3 Billions per year for 10 years for every plant.
Some time in between the Indian financial structure crumble.
The Government looses all controls,
Inflation rise to unimaginable levels.
Wish not happen!
Excuses and blames.....
God may protect us from radiation and terrorists
....
.....
The individuals worked for the N-deal may disappear in between.

Intelligentsia, NGOs, Non political organizations and individuals,
Think over
The people demand,
SAVE US!!

Your whole post is a rhetoric based on unfounded and imagined conspiracies.
Only fact you try to give is:
"
Decommissioning of plants...
Costing $3 Billions per year for 10 years for every plant.
"
And this too is based on wrong information. As per you, this is about $30 Billion for a plant which is totally away from realistic numbers.
Current plants can be decommissioned at a fraction of cost to what you say. Estimates now average $325 million per reactor.

With this kind of post, how do you expect anyone to think over?

Please research a little bit what you find and then post. No point in cutting and pasting from some propaganda material.

Mr.Sandeep
Thanks for the post giving me a chance to state my version.
The post is not from unfounded and imagined conspiracies. This is not just cutting and pasting from some propaganda material. I wrote what I felt correct. I had some references to support my posts. The Sellafield nuclear plant (Briton)is in the process of decommissioning. The contract have been finalised. Just google “Group up for £17bn Sellafield job” and satisfy yourself. The project cost is estimated as 1.7 Billion Sterling pound per year for ten years. I presume the paper will not publish false news. Read the connected links and satisfy yourself about problems connected with the nuclear stations.

Regarding the availability of Uranium my post is based on a satement made by Dr APJ.Abdul Kalam made in April 2007. Google “ N-deal pact will not provide the right fuel Kalam” or try the url dnaindia DOTcom/report. asp?newsid= 1149109 suitably editing the url. I do not know whether the moderator allows this to be posted.

Important: I am not against nuclear energy. But we must study all sides before taking decisions.

Please come back with your comments so that I can correct my mistakes if any. :)

“Your whole post is a rhetoric based on unfounded and imagined conspiracies.”
Have read the book 'Smart men in Chair”. It gives several accounts of the foul play enacted by special interests. Also read about the collapse of economies of the many banana republics of the 60s and 70s.
