It's such attitude like isolation from world affairs, shutting down indistries that got people in Bengali disillussioned with the Left/CPIM. Only pragmatic people like Buddhadev Bhattachary gor that support back because he came out of dogmatic politics and did a lot to create jobs in industries and services.
Karat is destroying all the supports by creating problems for the country and stopping Electrification project thru the neuclear deal.
