Next time if a situation arises in which a Marxist MP is to be elected as a speaker we can be sure what the party expects from him. (1) He should act as a marxist and not as a speaker. (2)He should give more time to the Marxist MP's. (3)He should put the interests of the party above that of the dignity of the parliament. This very same attitude makes them very poor alliance partners. Manmohan Singh is too decent a gentleman to tackle them. Now they have got very good company. Mayawati is the best alliance partner for Karat. Both are so intolerent of dissent that the country can expect great entertainment from this pair.
