Somnath Chaterjee belongs to a caste, whose political weight has been on decline for last few years. Although, under given situation, ruling alliance may try to keep him in good humour, he was no longer needed in a 'castist communal CPM'. It may be noted that his constituency has been marked as a reserve seat for SC.

Somnath Chatterjee can win from any constituency in West Bengal or any educated constituency in India, howver only if he stands as an independent candidate - without CPM's tag. Infact CPM's tag has degraded Mr. Chatterjee and upgraded CPM the party of leeches!

Somanth Cannot win from anywhere as an Independent. In west Bengal He CANNOT WIN on a Congress Ticket also.

Your are 100% correct. Traitor Somanath can't win from any Bengal constituency against Left Candidates, or any where from India. He will lose his deposit.

I promise he will win frm any city in India on any party's symbol other the communists. And whts this traitor issue? the biggest traitors are the communists, chinese slave, who have sold and continue to sell their motherland to their chinese masters. Thnakfully, their decline is near, congress stronger mean end of communists. Like Shiv Sena wiped the communists from Mumbai and western maharshtra, same approach needs to be followed else where.
